Fall Protection Book

The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) published a new Fall Protection book. Introduction to Fall Protection, 5th Edition, by J. Nigel Ellis, brings the reader up to date with the latest best practices, standards, requirements and innovative equipment for addressing falls in the workplace. Dr. Ellis, a founding member of ANSI/ASSP Z359, addresses codes of practice, the hierarchy of controls, active fall protection systems, protection by worker activity and equipment selection. The book includes case studies that demonstrate real-world situations, a fall protection program with extensive examples and a detailed glossary of terms.
