CarbonX® MaxAir

CarbonX® MaxAir by TexTech combines the signature protective properties of CarbonX with maximum comfort and breathability. Its first-of-a-kind construction includes non-woven felt as the non-flammable base fabric on which layers of hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers are added to repel and pull moisture away from the body. The moisture escapes through a unique perforated aluminum surface, creating a dramatic cooling effect. While the perforated holes are small enough to allow air permeation, they are not large enough to significantly impact the level of radiant heat and molten metal splash protection—the holes seal when hit by hot molten metal.
